Overview
This course is designed to give delegates the necessary teaching skills and subject knowledge to train carers working with people with dementia. Delegates should come away from this Train the Trainer course with an authoritative understanding of the issues relating to dementia and an ability to answer even the most difficult questions on the topic. They will also be taught a range of teaching methods and public speaking skills that will enhance their abilities as an instructor. Upon completion of the course, the employing organisation will benefit from having a dementia trainer and advisor on site who can make sure all staff are compliant with legislative guidelines and meeting CQC recommendations.

Course Assessment
This Dementia Train the Trainer course takes 1 day to complete. Delegates will be expected to engage in several involved group activities and, during the teaching part, will be evaluated on their knowledge and ability to train others.
